Dive into our past
Our collections include a wealth of original photographs and documents dating back to the 1860s. A few of these items have been displayed in the museum, but most have never been accessible to the public before. This archival collection was digitized and preserved in 2022/23 through a grant provided by the Province of Manitoba.
These albums offer important genealogical information for descendants and relations of the Inkster & Sinclair families.
They also provide insights into the family's many personal, political, and commercial connections with important people in the Red River Settlement & early Winnipeg.
