Camera and Decanter

Camera: A black and maroon accordion-style box camera by the Eastman Kodak Company. As film was expensive, and the process of taking and developing pictures was laborious, each picture would likely have been taken with quite a bit of thought and care behind it.

Decanter: This is a crystal decanter for wine or spirits. It has a stopper and gold decorations. This particular decanter was used by the Inksters at Seven Oaks House.

Shaving brush: Wooden handle with salt-and-pepper natural hair. Used for applying shaving cream.

Straight razor: This razor has a brown handle, and was used for shaving facial hair. These razors needed to be kept very sharp in order to be used effectively.

Pocket watches offered a convenient and stylish way to keep track of the time. The chain attached the watch to the inside of a coat pocket to keep it safe.
