Preserve the past for our future

Your gift is deeply appreciated and your donation can be made in a number of ways:
  • Contributing to our Endowment Fund, which provides for our Future
  • Bringing the past to life – today, by making a Direct Donation
  • Leaving a Legacy through Planned Giving

Contribute to our Endowment Fund

Our Museum has partnered with The Winnipeg Foundation to permanently establish an Endowment Fund under the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program.

The Manitoba government established the Manitoba Heritage Trust Endowment Fund to help match contributions to our fund. Each gift has the potential to be stretched by up to 50%.

The Winnipeg Foundation will generate the tax receipts for all gifts directed to this Manitoba Heritage Trust Program. Gifts to this fund are invested in perpetuity and the annual income generated by the fund is distributed to the museum, helping us secure our future.

Bringing the Past to Life Today, with a Direct Donation

Your gift can immediately support our operations, programs, and preservation efforts. A donation directly to the museum supports initiatives like:
  • School programs
  • Restoring the oldest home in Winnipeg
  • Preserving heritage collections
  • Making our local history accessible

Please contact us if you'd like to donate with your credit card. Donations are also accepted by cheque, cash, or debit, and can be mailed or delivered (when we are open). Our address is:

50 Mac Street

Winnipeg, Manitoba
R2V 4Z9

Please be sure to include your Full Name and Mailing Address for the issuance of a tax receipt. Tax receipts will be issued by the City of Winnipeg for donations over $20.00.

Leaving a Legacy through Planned Giving

Leaving a legacy with a planned gift can help ensure that the museum and our local heritage is preserved for future generations.
