Ladies College, St. Boniface
Also known as the St. Boniface Academy for the Education of Young Women or the St. Boniface School for Young Ladies, relatively little is known about this institution when we compare it to what is known about the now Université de Saint-Boniface and its secondary and post-secondary institutions.
What we do know is that there was a Ladies College in St. Boniface, and that the Grey Nuns were responsible for their eduction. The building depicted on Fonseca's map no longer exists, but from old street registries and maps, we know that the school was located to the South of the Cathedral and the Archbishop's Residences on Tache Avenue.
If it still stood, the approximate address would be at 437 Tache Avenue.
