The Pedal Powered Ghost Tours continue with strange and spooky tales from the distant past.
Learn about paranormal activity inside Seven Oaks House Museum and embark on a tour of the Seven Oaks neighbourhood led by Matthew Komus, author of Haunted Winnipeg, who will share eerie stories along the way.
Participants will hear of a historic battle that continues to be fought to this day, visit the oldest haunted house in Winnipeg and even learn of the community’s connection to the top secret Manhattan Project.

One hundred years ago, thousands of Winnipeggers boarded the city’s trolleys and streetcars every day. Blending into the background, the drivers of these vehicles were always watching, listening, and learning about the people who rode with them. Join the Midnight Conductor—so named because he worked the graveyard shift—on the Trolley of Terror tour as he shares some of the creepiest stories he heard while roaming our darkened streets. Learn about the gruesome executions of the early Canadian West; the local doctor who became one of the world’s foremost séance experts in the early 1900s; the most famous UFO sighting in Canadian history; and of course, the many, many ghosts that haunt this old prairie town. He’ll take you inside:- The eerie Dalnavert mansion to share Victorian traditions around death and mourning;
- Seven Oaks House, the oldest and most haunted house in Winnipeg; and
- The famous Fort Garry Hotel’s Room 202
You’ll hear the room’s tragic tale of the lady in the white wedding dress and the hundreds of guests who have been left shaken—sometimes literally—by…something…once they turn out the lights for night...

Historically focused bicycle tours led by the curator of Seven Oaks House Museum and our partners Bike Winnipeg. We'll trace the course of the scenic Red River, as we visit the significant buildings and places that shaped our city’s early history.
- Spirits of Seven Oaks (Dates TBA) Back with a vengeance, the Spirits of Seven Oaks are ready to spook again. Rumoured to be Winnipeg's oldest haunted house, the mysterious occurrences around Seven Oaks are tied up in one of the darkest chapters of our city's history. Each night begins with a walking tour through the mysterious history of the Seven Oaks neighbourhood led by Matthew Komus, author of Haunted Winnipeg. Those brave enough will return to explore Seven Oaks House by candlelight, and hear about the paranormal activity at the museum.

- Yoga Under the Oaks (every Saturday at 9:30 am & 5:00 pm)
Karma yoga class presented by Trinidad Yoga with Coco. This is a beginner intro yoga class, suitable for everyone to learn simple flows and postures. Karma-yoga means "pay what you can". Donations to support our wonderful instructor and Seven Oaks House Museum are greatly appreciated.

Participants will be introduced to the history of Métis style beadwork in an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of our collection. We will then learn the fundamentals to make our own floral pouches and pin-cushions.

Join Seven Oaks House Museum in celebrating our second annual Archaeology in the Garden. Enjoy light refreshments and baked goods while learning about what was found during University of Manitoba's month-long archaeological excavation of the grounds of Seven Oaks House by Dr. Bruggencate in our garden, followed by an exclusive guided tour of some of the most valuable items found in the historic Inkster residence. Find out what families like the Inksters did for recreation and fun, and learn more about the Seven Oaks grounds and local history.

Join us in our garden as we celebrate Seven Oaks House Museum's 60th anniversary and explore the history that lies beneath your feet.
This spring, Seven Oaks House hosted a dig by the University of Manitoba's Archaeological Field School, who excavated in the park surrounding Winnipeg's oldest home. They uncovered hundreds of unique artifacts that can tell us about life along the Red River and the Inkster family who lived on this land for more than 80 years.
For one night only these artifacts will be on display to the public, and will offer a special glimpse into Winnipeg's past.
