A note on the back reads "To Dick, from Annie"

This photo shows Annie Hamilton McMurray, daughter of Harriet Inkster & William McMurray. She is wearing a voyageur's outfit with moccasins, a capote jacket, ceinture fléchée and snowshoes. Her father worked as a Chief Factor for the Hudson's Bay Company .

Photo identified with a note written in ballpoint pen on the album slot containing this photo: "A H McDonald - 4530 Grant Blvd Montreal; Visitor to the house July 26/61"

A.H. might be related Ellen Inkster's husband, Archie McDonald. The initials don't match any of their known sons.
