Based on its origin in New Orleans, this photo is presumed to be associated with John George Inkster. His children were entrusted to the care of Marak at Seven Oaks at a relatively young age (before 1880). The girl looks to be around the same age as his daughter Mary 'Mollie' Inkster Walker.
