Larsen immigrated from Norway to work for the HBC, and would become one of the first photographers in Red River. He photographed most of the famous figures in early Manitoba and his works are highly valued. He was also a notorious alcoholic and was accused of using his photo lab to make counterfeit currency.

It is from a later date than the majority of the photos in this album, and was likely added by Sibyl Inkster later.

Annie Sybil mckay inkster

Sybil was the daughter of Hon. Colin Inkster who inherited his home, Bleak House. She lived from 1880-1974 and worked as a teacher.
